Yes the rumors were true. We had three-time world champ and surf legend Tom Curren at the store for a chat. Have a look to see what he’s like out of the water. The waves sucked locally so Yazzy scooted him away to some secret spots. We will see if we can get him and the whole Rip Curl posse up another time. Check out the Trikke Tribred he is promoting too if you want.

Look for some donk-call submissions at the end too. No, we did not ask Tom to heehaw. Not this time. Tell us your favorite donk caller.

Oh and there is a sneak peek of a future episode from the summer showing an Alaia board in action with Christian Wach.

Just to prove that we can get his big ole carcass out in the early AM here is a recent dawn patrol adventure just after hurricane Kyle blew through.  A little chatter, some background rambling and of course surf porn via lance the “sniper”.

Oh, did we say that we have Tom Curren in our next episode?  Well we just did now.  Look for three time world surf champ, Tom Curren in Dacane Surf Shop chit chatting about boards among some googly-eyed fans…like me.  The surf was low locally so Yazzi scooted him away for some of secret spot shots.  We also will have our first donk call submissions in that show so we’ll have to get a poll started and no, Tom didn’t do a heehaw.  Damm.

The temp is dropping quick so look for some real cold water surfing soon.  A little pee with your suit sir?

Too funny! I couldn’t have written this. Watch and see the Donk fun from the 2008 September Storm Surf Classic hosted by the Surfriders Association of Nova Scotia (SANS). Lance pulls yet another horseshoe, rather Donkeyshoe from his butt but you’ll have to see it to believe it. Look for the secret to Lance’s power past the credits too.

Here we go!  This is the first episode of SurfDonkey featuring “the Lance Show” aka Lance Moore from Halifax Nova Scotia (Canada).  In this episode Lance gets his feet wet and fills us in on how he got started in the surf biz.  This one is a bit long but we had a killer summer surf session over the last week that gave us tons of surf porn to roll out.  Is that a board in your pants or are you just happy to see yourself catch a wave?  Oh and look for the end sneak peek of Matt “Da swatter” pulling off some Rocky beat box.  Da Cane!
