Great video, and fair play to surf in water that cold! I thought we had it chilly here in the UK in winter but it’s positviely tropical compared to there.
Nice one!

Lance doesn’t actually surf in this video. It’s all his identical twin brother Craig getting barrelled. Lance keeps a flask of gentlemen jack in the crotch of his suit to get him warm during his ice-bath sessions.
I want a heated surf donkay wetsuit with a beer holder for my Keith’s.
Big surf music can be had for your next episode donks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4KhF2xb2UA.

its great to see a bit of home once in a while. although i dont approve of lance being given so much airtime, i do enjoy seeing the drive to the beach, and being able to see that classic frozen surf action.
i will never forget paddling around in the cost rica surf a few winters ago with lance when his ear was all closed over. every time i tried to talk to him in the water he kept giving me this disapproving look like “you can do better than that last wave, pull up your skirt” or something… it drove me crazy… i found out later that he was actually completely deaf from the last round of surfers ear and just couldn’t understand a word i was saying…

So if I bring some boards from the land of right points up there that IMHO would work ten times better, would you take me to that wave? I’ll brink donuts and tobacco.

You’ll have to be blindfolded but it won’t be too hard to find. Most of the locals are protective (rightly so as I see from everywhere else in the world) but we are a friendly bunch overall.
Doughnuts definitely help. it worked for Tom Curren
.
Thanks

Hi, you guys got me psyched up for cold water surfing. I surf here in Port-Cartier, Quebec. It’s on the north shore of the belle province. The waves aren’t as big as you guys but they give you a nice twenty foot push and I like the way you have to feel the way the wave is going to break to get the most out of it. Peace!
